OLE Day 2011-2012

Treasure Hunt and Video Shows

The English Language Department organized an English Festival on

16th May, 2012. This was one of the OLE days of the school. Different

activities were held to help students enjoy using English when taking part

in the activities. The activities included treasure hunt, video shows and

singing contests. All the students were actively engaged in the activities

and teachers were amazed by the students' performances and talents.

2011 (September- December)

S1 Drama Classes

Dramatic English (DE) was hired to run in-house drama classes for the secondary

one students as well as teacher training workshops for all English teachers. 

At the end of the programme, all the students will be asked to do a performance

based on their class reader “Beauty and the Beast”. 

The final performance will be held on 12th December, 2011 (Monday)

Halloween Games

Halloween games stalls were organized by the members of the English Society during recess

and lunch break on 31st October, 2011 (Monday). 

Many students took part in the activities and they had lots of fun and ….. candies as treats.

English Corner

Members of the English Society run regular activities at the English Corner to help boost

schoolmates’ confidence in using English. 

The English Corner operates every day (Monday to Friday) from 10:15 a.m. till 10:45 a.m. 

Members of the English Society will help manage a variety of activities, including Snap, Matching Pairs,

Discussion Corner, Reading Corner and Question Corner, etc.
